The Catholic Fellowship of NYC  invites single Catholics/Christians to this special Pre-Valentine Singles Mingle Charity Event benefiting Catholic Charities.

Come out to 49 Grove Lounge on Friday February 10th, 2017 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. Over 200 singles attended our previous singles mingle charity event.

Sat Oct 1, 2016 Bryan Mercier on “Following the Pathway to Love” for Catholics/Christians

The Catholic Fellowship of NYC invites you to join us for a special talk by our guest speaker Bryan Mercier on “Following the Pathway to Love” on Saturday October 1, 2016 starting at 6:30pm.  The talk (open to Catholics\Christians 21+, both single and married) will focus on the 4 levels of love: Attraction, Desire, Goodwill, and Marital Love as well as discuss some common pitfalls in dating and what it takes to reach happily-ever-after.

Suggested donation of $10, which will cover our guest speaker’s talk fees and transportation as well as applied towards our continuing support for Food for the Poor.

After the talk, which will end around 8pm, the group will go to a nearby venue for a social.

About our Guest Speaker: For over 20 years, Bryan Mercier (age 41 and resident of Milford, CT) has been an international Catholic speaker and retreat leader on practical topics such as spirituality, faith formation, and apologetics. Bryan has spoken at retreats, seminars, regional gatherings, parish missions, and conferences. He was aired on an 8-week television show covering Catholic apologetics, and on a 2-week radio show covering the Catholic Church. Bryan has taught a young adult Bible Study for over 10 years. He has written many Catholic apologetics tracts and has recently started a blog. He has spoken in front of crowds ranging from 30 to 3,000, and has been aired on both TV and radio in different states. Bryan has also spent 10 years as part of the R.O.C.K. (Revival of Catholic Kids) Ministry Team. He now heads this retreat team, which puts on all-day, half-day, and weekend-long retreats for Confirmation classes and other teen groups.

Young Adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s are invited to a Thursday Night Holy Hour on October 16th starting at 7PM.

Forget your worries and troubles in this material world, and come spend time with Him. “Jesus is the source; it is from Him that divine life in man finds its beginning. To have this life, we only need to approach Him and remain in Him.”

*For those who can make it: there is a Latin Mass at 6PM.*

Music led adoration with confession available.

After the Holy Hour, meet for a Social in the Lower Church at 8PM and ending around 9:30PM.

Join us for a Summer Social at the Riverwalk Bar & Grill on Roosevelt Island on Friday June 13th from 6:30PM – 9:30PM.

Serving a wide selection of food and drinks on Roosevelt Island since 2009, Riverwalk Bar & Grill is a quick commute from midtown Manhattan via the F train or Tram.

Feel free to invite friends.

***How to find us***: The group will have a greeting table inside. Look for Joe or Toan, and we will hand out name tags.

There are some tables reserved inside and outside for the group.

***Directions***:
Take the F to Roosevelt Island. Upon exiting the subway station, make a left and walk 1 – 2 minutes up the block.

Take the Tram to Roosevelt Island (same price as subway, and you can use your subway pass). Riverwalk Bar & Grill is about a 5 minute walk from the Tram station.

NYC: Sat Dec 21st Catholic Professionals Mass & Christmas Drinks Social

ImageJoin young adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s for the Young Professionals Mass on Saturday December 21st at 5:30PM at the Church of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. 

After the 5:30PM Mass, meet the group outside in front of the Church to head to Gael Pub for our Christmas Social. Ask for Joe or Toan who are your hosts from The Catholic Fellowship. The group will walk over together (around 6:30pm/6:40pm) to Gael Pub (1 block away). 

At Gael Pub, enjoy drink and food specials, Christmas music and fellowship.
